Antisemitism is merely the starting place to try and understand the tragedy of the Holocaust. The antisemite condition of the German due to Hitler was what lead to countless Jewish citizens death during the Holocaust. This antisemite thought process lead to the boycott of Jewish businesses. On April 1, 1933, the first nationwide planned action against the Jewish citizens was a country wide boycott of their businesses, leaving many of these businesses with spray-painted signs on their doors and windows with sayings like "dont buy from Jews," or "the Jews are our misfortune." On April 7 of 1933, Jewish citizens were officially relieved of their civil services as a part of Hitler's goal to restore the civil service to an Aryan ran organization.
